Life seems like a dream for the 23 year old rapper who played Jimmy Brooks on the television series Degrassi: The next Generation!
Aubrey Drake Graham was born in Canada and released his first Mixtape called “Room for improvement” in early 2006.In 2007 Drake released the Mixtape “Comeback Season” where he got singles like “Replacement Girl” which was featured by Trey Songz and a Freesytle of “Man of the year” which featured Lil´Wayne.The attention got bigger and bigger and other collaborations between Drake and Lil´Wayne took place in 2008.In Febuary 2009 Drake released his breathtaking Mixtape “So far gone” which had an 808´s & Heartbreak vibe.Artits like Trey Songz, Lloyd, Bun-B, Omarion and his mentor  Lil´Wayne were part of the succesful Mixtape which gained a lot of attention.“Best I ever had” and “Succesful” ft. Trey Songz were the most high-flying songs of the Mixtape which were played all over the US.Videos for both singles were shot and Kanye West was the directer of the “Best I ever had” Video. Drake was everywhere and released an official EP which includes 5 Songs of the “So far gone” Mixtape and one song called “Fear” which is sort of an “introduction song” for his first solo Album “Thank me later”( release date: June 15 th 2010). Finally Drake signed his recorddeal with Lil´Waynes label Young Money entertainment, dist. by Universal Republic in 2009 and worked together with big names in musicbusiness like Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Jay-Z and many more.Than Drake earned and got nominated for several awards, including the Grammys.He couldn´t earn a Grammy but he performed at the Grammys in 2010 alongside with Eminem, Lil´Wayne and Travis Barker.So much happened in such a short time for the newcomer and now he is about to release his first Album.Meanwhile Drake is touring around the US (“Away from Home tour”) where he is performing his hit singles and some new material.
I´m a big Drake Fan cause he is a very humble talented young guy!
